Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Children Champions application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are a parent or guardian of a minor using this app, you accept these terms on their behalf.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the App.

2. Eligibility

• Athletes: Ages 8-17 with parental/guardian consent
• Parents/Coaches/Scouts: Must be 18 years or older
• Users must provide accurate and complete registration information
• One account per person — shared accounts are not permitted

3. User Accounts and Roles

Children Champions supports four user roles, each with specific features and responsibilities:

• Athletes (Children): Share sports content, receive coaching feedback, connect with the community
• Parents: Monitor child activity, approve content, communicate with coaches
• Coaches: Provide feedback, track athlete performance, build coaching network
• Scouts: Discover talent, view athlete profiles (premium subscription may be required)

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Content Guidelines

Users must NOT post content that:

• Is inappropriate, explicit, or offensive
• Contains bullying, harassment, or hate speech
• Reveals personal contact information of minors
• Infringes copyrights or intellectual property rights
• Contains false or misleading information
• Is spam, promotional, or commercial in nature
• Promotes violence, illegal activities, or dangerous behavior

5. Content Moderation

To ensure a safe environment for all users, especially minors:

• All content posted by minors requires parental approval before publication
• We reserve the right to review, remove, or restrict any content that violates these Terms
• Repeated violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban
• Users can report inappropriate content using in-app reporting features

6. Subscription Services

Children Champions offers the following subscription plans:

• Free tier: Available to all athletes and coaches with core features
• Parent Premium: Unlimited video storage, advanced analytics, and priority support
• Scout Premium: Unlimited searches, detailed athlete profiles, and advanced filters

Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

7. Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of content you post on Children Champions
• By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform
• The Children Champions app, logo, design, and all related materials are our intellectual property
• You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the App

8. Safety and Reporting

We are committed to maintaining a safe platform:

• Report inappropriate content or behavior using in-app reporting tools
• All reports are investigated promptly
• We cooperate with law enforcement when required by law
• We implement automated content screening for child safety

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, the accuracy of coach feedback or performance metrics, specific athletic outcomes or results, or that the App will meet all your requirements.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Children Champions and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, user-generated content, injuries from sports activities, third-party actions or conduct, or data loss or unauthorized access.

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Violation of these Terms or Content Guidelines
• Illegal or fraudulent activity
• Inappropriate or harmful behavior toward other users
• Extended inactivity (with prior notice)

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sofia, Bulgaria.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
